This inaugural report details the sustainability performance of the Hunt Energy family of companies in 2020, highlighting key actions to create an environment that favors the development of our employees and neighboring communities, promotes aspects of our corporate direction, and supports our efforts to provide energy options responsibly and efficiently for the people we serve.
The report has been developed considering the IPIECA sustainability reporting guidance as a key reference designed to guide oil and gas companies that voluntarily report on their performance in environmental, social and governance aspects for internal and external audiences. In addition, the World Economic Forum ESG reporting metrics and disclosure standards have been considered, which are prepared by leading private ESG standard-setters.
Our report includes various metrics recommended by both guidelines and is expected to continually incorporate additional recommendations and considerations over time.
